My name is Jason Scheler and I have the honor to serve with Hope on the Beach Church to the community of South Walton and beyond. The Lord brought me here in 2009 from a successful church plant in Michigan to restart Hope as their first full-time Pastor. I have a passion to love and connect people to Jesus. I define success by you being closer to Jesus and you helping others to connect to Jesus. All heaven rejoices when this is happening. My favorite bible verse is Luke 5:32 "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." I am blessed to be married to Kristie and to share in life together. We have three children. Kayla - married to Bart with 2 little boys in Phoenix, AZ. Jacob -read more about him on the next bio, Jenna- a navy nurse. I enjoy family, friends, cooking, fishing, biking, traveling, and the Beach. I hope this introduction will be a starting point for us to grow together in Christ.
