Ministries

FAMILY MINISTRY

Families of all shapes and sizes are a gift from God, and at Hope on the Beach Church we love all. Hope provides fun Family Events to connect families of all generations to Jesus and one another. We believe that every generation can bless and be blessed by young and old alike. We hope you will experience the blessings of one generation to another on Sundays and all occasions. WE value generations connecting to Jesus and one another because this is how faith is passed on.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Children are an integral part of all our ministry. We love to see them in worship, at events, and helping in service and outreach. We desire to come alongside you on your journey to encourage and equip you, provide healthy and safe environments for your kids to connect to Jesus, and flourish as they mature in their faith.

At our 11:00 am Family Service at the 98 Campus

A Children’s Message is shared on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Nursery is available for children birth – 3 years old during our 11:00 am Family Service where your child will receive love and care as they play. Children’s Church is available every Sunday for children ages 4 – 4th Grade. The children stay in worship with their family until the sermon. Before the sermon they are dismissed to Children’s Church where they will enjoy an age appropriate Bible story, song, craft, and / or game. We are blessed with awesome teachers and helpers that love seeing your children each week.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Hope on the Beach Church believes in passing on the passion of Jesus Christ to the next generation. The goal of youth ministry is to lay the foundations for a lifelong identity in Christ through education, service, and fellowship opportunities. We believe the most effective ministry for accomplishing this goal will be sacramental, biblical, missional, and familial. Youth ministry will reveal to the youth how faith impacts their everyday experiences. Invite your friends to come along to join in community, fun, and Jesus! If you are interested or have any questions, please reach out to Anna.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Women of Hope

Women at Hope are encouraged to join a Life Group to have an opportunity to connect to Jesus, be discipled, and have an opportunity to help disciple others. There are several opportunities throughout the year to join in Ladies’ Night Out and service projects for Hope, our community, and the world.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Men of Iron at Hope on the Beach Church is a great place to build friendships with guys, have fun, and grow in your walk.  On the 1st Saturday of each month, the Men's ministry has a regular gathering for fellowship and breakfast at the Hwy 98 church campus from 9-10:30am.  The goal of our gathering is to build relationships, have a safe and confidential place to talk without advice, and learn more about following Jesus. Each month we discuss a topic or plan future events.  We also will have various events during the year ranging from volunteer work projects  to backyard BBQ's to social outings.

LIFE GROUPS

Go to our Life Groups page to learn more about them.

The purpose of Life Groups is to connect people (members and non-members) in a small group to Jesus, His family, and His mission.  This is accomplished through study of the Word, prayer, and fellowship and service.

The current schedule of Life Groups has included a semester beginning in January and September, with weekly gatherings and typically lasts for 10 consecutive weeks.  Meeting locations vary between homes or the church building.  Group size is encouraged to be 4-8 people.  Life Groups are not meant to be a classroom lecture or a Bible study led by one person.  Each group is equipped with a facilitator to coordinate, organize, and generate discussions and missional activities in order for the group to get invested and thrive.  A Life Group is a safe place to belong, share life, and share God’s Word together.

Life Groups generally follow this rhythm:

January Start:  Each Life Group Facilitator may determine his/her/their own study topic with the assistance and approval of the Staff Life Group Systems leader.

September Start:  Each Life Group will study the same topic as determined by the pastors.  The topic will correlate to the Sunday morning worship themes.

Summer Life Group Events:  Events like presenters and fellowship meals (4 or so in June and July) have been scheduled in the past.  These events serve as ways for the entire fellowship of Life Group participants to get together.

Each group becomes unique because its participants are unique!  Many groups find opportunities to volunteer and fellowship in addition to the regular weekly gathering.  If you are interested in participating, contact Pastor Jason for more information.

TECH MINISTRY

Hope on the Beach Church is blessed to have members and attenders from all over the nation. We love our extended family and enjoy the opportunity that technology gives us to keep them connected through live streams of our Worship Experiences and our Website’s sermon library. This is all done through the hard work of volunteers and staff to work with our musicians, pastors, and sound equipment to create a product that is viewer friendly and worshipful. We are always in need of volunteers who aren’t scared to learn something new or willing to bless Hope with their professional expertise to continue improving the Gospels reach to the ends of the Earth. Please reach out to Anna if you have questions or would like to get involved!

SNOWBIRDS

Hope on the Beach Church anticipates and loves the arrival of snowbirds each year. We consider you part of the family when you are here and when you are home. We encourage you to join in serving, fellowship, and outreach activities. Think of your serving as a mission trip and giving a break to the Hope team. We love opportunities to get to know you better and that can happen at a Snowbird Luncheon in January and February or any of our events.
