Openness to Divine Revelation

The Pharisees' refusal to believe in Jesus, despite the clear signs of His divinity, serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of a hardened heart. It is not enough to simply go through the motions of religious observance or to agree with spiritual truths in principle. True faith is characterized by an openness to God's revelation, a willingness to be transformed by the miraculous, and a readiness to respond with belief. This openness requires humility and the courage to let go of preconceived notions and biases that can blind one to the truth. It is a heart posture that allows the divine to penetrate and change us from the inside out. [55:37]

"Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long." - Psalm 25:4-5

Reflection: Reflect on a recent time when you felt challenged by a spiritual truth. How did you respond, and what can you do to cultivate a more open heart towards God's revelations in your life?
